The Black Death was on the most devastating pandemics in Norman history resulting in the death of an estimates 75 to 200 million people and peaking in Europe in the year. In the early 1330s an outbreak of deadly bubonic plague occurred in China. The bubonic plague mainly effects rodents, but fleas can transmit the disease to people. Once people are infected there was nut ins to do about it or do noting. Medieval society never fully recovered from the results of the plague. So many people had died they there were serious labor shortages all over Europe. Knights
A mounted warriors in the service of his liege lord. Mounted warrior had great advantage on the battle field. The ability to wield a sword or lance from the horseback was a special skill that took practice and wherewithal. It also took the practice with comrades to learn to work together as a team. A lord would employ knights and give them the times and equipment they needed to practice; in return they served their lord as vassals. The knight was under his lord's protection, both legally and militarily.
